Milton Police search for Circle K robbers

Robbers

Another Circle K has been robbed at gunpoint in Santa Rosa County.

Milton Police say two men walked in to the popular convenience store across from Milton High School wearing masks. One of the men, armed with a handgun, told an employee to "put the money in the bag," according to Police Chief Gregory Brand.

Brand says two men described as white males fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The men can be seen in security photos wearing masks as they entered the store just after 3 a.m.

One of the robbers was described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing blue pants, possibly having brown hair and carrying a black-and-red drawstring bag. The second suspect was described as taller, wearing a green-hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The robbers fled the store on foot, heading northeast, running behind the West Florida Community Care Center.

Two men were arrested in Pensacola following several armed robberies at Circle K Stores in Santa Rosa and Escambia Counties in May. The men in those crimes were black males, also armed with guns. In one case, the Circle K on Garcon Pt. Rd. near the Interstate was robbed and the store's safe was stolen during the robbery.

Milton Police are investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Milton Police Department at 983-5420.
