The Santa Rosa Tea Party Patriots will meet Monday, May 13 at 6 p.m. at the Pace Community Center which is located at the Pace Ball Park, 7/10 mile on Chumuckla Hwy, North of Berryhill Road. Turn into the second drive, meeting will be in the brick building. This is a location change from our regular meeting place, so please make note.
We will spend some time talking about this legislative session and some of the bills that were passed and those that failed; we will also have a special speaker. Tappie Villane, Santa Rosa County Supervisor of Elections.
People in Santa Rosa County elected Tappie in 2012, but she is not new to the elections office as she worked there many years before being elected.
The Santa Rosa Tea Party Partriots focus on education and Tappie will talk with us about the special election that actually takes place on May 14 for the Second District.
She will also speak with us about election information as we will have an election in 2014.
Bring your concerns about elections with you, we will have a question and answer period in the program.
