In conjunction with National Fire Prevention Week, in October the City of Milton Fire Department held its third annual Fire Prevention Week Open House at its Fire Station at 5321 Stewart Street this summer.
This event featured tours of the fire station and fire apparatus, fire safety information, displays of fire safety equipment, displays from our community partners, fire safety puppet show, activities for children and food and fun for the whole family.
“We wanted to show off what our community offers in the way of emergency response,” said Fire Chief John E. Reble.
Reble estimates that 1,000 people attended the event this year.
