The Santa Rosa County Veterans Memorial Foundation is seeking monetary donations to help a Milton family get back on their feet after their home went up in flames last week. On Jan. 9, a fire on Hamilton Bridge destroyed the home of Petty Officer 3rd Class Nathan Henkin and his family. The family recovered nothing from their home but the clothes on their back. They have received many donations from the community and have moved to a house in Whiting Pines.
