MILTON — Officials have identified two of the three people killed in the June 16 wreck on Interstate 10. Dustin Richard Davis, 22, of Chipley, Fla., was driving a 1993 Jeep Cherokee around 2:45 a.m. with 22-year-old Bonifay resident Amy Rachel Owens riding in his passenger seat, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Davis was driving westbound in the eastbound inside lane of Interstate 10 when he hit a 2007 Jeep Wrangler driving in the eastbound lane at Mile Marker 36, according to FHP. The name of the 2007 Jeep driver has not been identified. Both vehicles burst into flames and were fully engulfed by the time emergency responders arrived. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
