Special Olympics Escambia/Santa Rosa will hold its second annual Mardi Gras 5K Fun Run and Walk at noon on Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Osceola Golf Course in Pensacola. This even will celebrate the Mardi Gras season while bringing the community together to promote diversity and inclusion. All proceeds will benefit the local Special Olympics athletes. After the event there will be a Finish Line Party with food, drinks, music and activities.
Information packet pick-up is available the day of the race from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Early pick up is available on Friday, Feb. 15, from 4-8 p.m. at Bayview Community Center, 2001 E.
