Join the HHT Foundation for the Second Annual Kite Fest at Navarre Beach, a day of family fun at the beach as they fly kites on the Florida Panhandle coast. There will be a picnic and, most importantly, lots of kite-flying. The event is free – just come and enjoy the beachcombing, beautiful sugar-white sand dunes and high flying kites. This event is hosted by the Gulf Coast Regional Networking Alliance of the HHT Foundation International and a small group of beach loving kite flyers.
The Kite Fest will be at Navarre Beach Park (near Pensacola, Fla.), from 12–4 p.m. on Saturday, June 15. From Highway 98 in Navarre, go over the Navarre Beach Causeway, then turn left on Gulf Boulevard into Navarre Beach Park. The Kite Fest will be held at the first group of pavilions on the right. Look for the kites and balloons.
Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) is a hereditary disease that affects more than 1 million people worldwide.
