Peacocks in Milton

Our photographer was thrilled to see these birds hanging out at a local store like they owned the place. They were not afraid of the camera, as long as proper distance was maintained. Some people will immediately recognize them and know where they are located, however we are not going to publish their location to ensure their safety. According to National Geographic, the peacock is the male – with the long beautiful feathers – and the females are called peahens. The peahens are believed to choose a mate based on the "size, color, and quality of these outrageous feather trains."
