Three men have been arrested in Pensacola after months of investigation into burglaries happening in Pace, Beulah, and Cantonment, according to a release issued by the Escambia County Sheriff's Office (ESCO). Kevin Randall Bell, 26; Charles Dylan Williams, 19; and Richard Kevin Craig, 21; all of Pensacola, have been charged with more than 100 counts of property crimes, combined.
Santa Rosa Sheriff's officials say 18 cases – 52 counts – have been cleared involving burglaries to automobiles in Woodbine Springs in Pace.
The Escambia County Sheriff's Office says eyewitnesses and investigation lead to the arrests. In January, burglaries reported in the Indian Lakes subdivision ended up with a witness getting a good description of the suspects when they tried to steal a vehicle.
A release issued by the ESCO says a security video filmed the men and the vehicle they were driving when they used a Red Box machine with stolen credit cards. Deputies found a location for the vehicle on Bridlewood Road. While searching the vehicle and home, sheriff's investigators say, "the suspects confessed to multiple burglaries" and told investigators they used the stolen credit cards to purchase gas, fast food and gaming cards.
Bell was charged with 13 counts of burglary; 11 counts of larceny; two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card; and one count of vehicle theft, according to Escambia County jail records. His bond was set at $129,500. Williams was charged with 20 counts of burglary; 19 counts of larceny; three counts of credit card fraud; and one count of vehicle theft with a bond of $239,000, jail records show. Craig was 19 counts of burglary; 18 counts of larceny; three counts of credit card fraud; and one count of vehicle theft, according to the Escambia County Sheriff's Office.. His bond is set at $292,500. All three men were still in custody Monday afternoon.
