UPDATE: Arrest made in death of Milton man killed on Pensacola Beach

A 20-year-old Pensacola man has been arrested and charged with homicide after the shooting death of a Milton man on Pensacola Beach earlier this week.

Demarcus Rayon Jenkins was charged with homicide and violation of probation – both charges carry no bond.

Sheriff's officias say Michael Leslie Harris, 34, was found on Fort Pickens Road at Casino Beach, on the beach after deputies were dispatched to a shots fired call.

Harris was found with gunshot wounds to his upper torso, Sheriff's officials are reporting.

Several men were wanted for questioning in the death of Harris, including Jenkins and Antonio Demarcus Morrell, 20 along with 19 year-old Demontae Thurman and an unidentified 17-year-old.
