On Friday, Oct. 4, there will be a dinner Hike starting at 6 p.m. at the Santa Rosa County Veterans Memorial Plaza Willing Street, Milton. Participants should meet Peggy in the parking lot at Veterans Memorial Park. Coming from Pensacola, turn right just before the bridge over Blackwater River. We will walk around Milton and down the Heritage Trail for about an hour then enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. On Sunday, Oct. 6, there is a Wake-Up Hike. It begins at 7 a.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church 3400 Bayou Boulevard, Pensacola. Get the day started joining Trudy and/or Peggy with a brisk walk and afterwards and join them for breakfast. The walk will go for about an hour, around 1 to 3 miles. We will be hiking/walking at different locations each Sunday morning. Easy, fun, healthy and friendly.
