Speak Out

Wednesday – 12:17 p.m.

This is Jim in Milton. For seniors whose memory doesn't last three years, I want to remind you that AARP was pushing Obamacare.  That federally required insurance that will hurt most seniors.  AARP was supposed to help seniors but they've become more involved with insurance brokering.  Example:  United Healthcare the largest healthcare provider in the US, and New York Life Insurance.  Insurance companies will make millions of dollars thanks to Obamacare.  Thank you.

Thursday – 8:48 a.m.

I want to thank the person who turned in my keys with the toy shark on them two or three weeks ago at Walmart in Pace.  Also, the kind and thoughtful people who asked about me at the desk. It is my hope that the writer Lynne at the paper has the same good fortune.  This is Jane.

Thursday -11:09 a.m.

This is Rick.  With all the news media about gas prices going lower and the national average at $3.21 a gallon, why are we so high in the panhandle?  We went from $3.07 to $3.25 within a ten day period.  Why are our prices going up when the rest of the country is going down? Can the Press Gazette get information and publish it please?

Thursday – 3:42 p.m.

We had a tire going out on the bay bridge. We didn't know it yet. A young man in a white truck was waving at us; his face was sweet.  I honestly didn't know what was going on.  I pulled over and checked. Sure enough, a flat tire.  I wish the young man could hear me saying thank you very much.  Maxine.
