A Pace man was arrested by Pensacola Police on Friday after they say he arranged to meet a 13-year-old girl for sex, according to the Pensacola Police Department spokesperson.
Eric Crist, 23, 4626 Live Oak Lane was arrested after Pensacola Police found an on-line advertisement to have sex with a female, ages, size, and race did not matter, that Crist allegedly wrote.
Detective Jeff Brown contacted Crist through email, according to Pensacola Police, and offered for Crist to have sex with his 13-year-old daughter – who in fact, did not exist. Following multiple communications, Crist agreed to meet with her for sex. The meeting was arranged for Friday, at which time Pensacola Police say Crist was arrested without incident.
Pensacola Police say members of the North Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force helped with the investigation.
Crist is in custody at the Escambia County jail under $50,000 bond, charged with public order crimes; and obscene communications.
