The Arc Santa Rosa, Inc. 4th Annual Blueberry Bash June 22

Update on blueberries at The Arc Santa Rosa: Blueberries are still ripening.  Remember, we do not add any chemicals, poisoning, or strange fertilizers to speed up the ripening process.  These are natural folks.

When they are ready: They are $3 per pound if WE PICK and $1.50 per pound if YOU PICK. Please Note:

The blueberry field will be closed the week of June 15 through 21 to ensure plenty of berries for The Arc Santa Rosa 4th Annual Blueberry Bash. Please check out our SPONSOR PAGES under Blueberry Bash Sponsors. Find our registration and sponsor form under: BLUEBERRY BASH – 2013. The last day for receipt of Vendor Applications: is June 1.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR JUNE 22 for our 4th ANNUAL BLUEBERRY BASH!

Family Fun showcasing over 30 local arts, crafts and other vendors offering a wide variety of products and hand-made items including, jewelry made from: gemstones, beads and even fishing lures; purses; stained glass; angel-themed items; teddy bears; baskets, honey, and much more. There will be food, local entertainment and a large children's area including games, jumpers, horseback rides and a petting zoo! Plus pick berries from our blueberry fields. The Arc Garden Center will also have a plant sale and offer picked berries for purchase until they are sold out. Proceeds from the day will help support activities provided to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities that are served by The Arc Santa Rosa, Inc.

Runners are invited to participate in our 5K Fun Run!  The run will start at 7:30 am with check-in beginning at 6:30 am, at The Arc facility on Dixie Rd. The 5K route is a flat course thru the neighborhood on paved roads. A water station with first aid will be available. Each runner’s time will be recorded. Registration can be made online at www.active.com or call The Arc for more information at 623-9320.  Join us after the race for refreshments and awards, then the fun continues with the Blueberry Bash.

The Arc is located at 6225 Dixie Road, Milton – four miles south of NAS Whiting Field. From Hwy 90 in Milton, travel North on Hwy 87/89 towards NAS Whiting Field, approximately four miles. Dixie Road will be on the left, which you will have to pass and do a u-turn at Oakland Dr., then Dixie Road will be the next street on your right.
