I have breaking news. It's Thursday morning, eight-o-clock, 70 degrees outside and the sun is shining beautiful. I just drove down Avalon, there is three people working on the railroad overpass bridge and there's actually four down by the Moors staring at the holding pond that's caving in. Hey, at this rate, by the year 2020, we may just get this road done. Just want to let everyone know the breaking news.

This is Jenny from Milton. I'd like to know why there's no football team news in your paper. Could it be because Milton is down? What a shame it is to omit something that people enjoy reading about. Win, lose or draw.
Friday — 8:52 a.m.
This is Robert, this is for the Press Gazette. I've been out toward I-10 twice this week, and from the bowling alley down to I-10, they're not working out there anymore. I know they got an extension, but did that make them stop work? You need to contact Tallahassee and find out what's going on. Thank you.
Friday — 5:01 p.m.
Good afternoon. I am an educator of Santa Rosa County schools. And I have just found out that Tim Wyrosdick, our superintendent, will not let go and try to pare this money out that our governor has offered to give to us.
It is $1,800, which we were supposed to get $2,500. But we're trying to get $1,800 for all employees of Santa Rosa County schools. That is your teachers and your educational support. If our governor can throw out the money from his mouth, why can't our superintendent put the money where his mouth is?
I am so sick and tired of not having any money. My job is very, very hard because I work with a self-contained class and it not an easy job for the amount of money we make.
I go home everyday with bite marks, pinches and bruises and anything else you can say on my body by these children that we try to teach. I think we ought to be with this money $1,800 to everybody, and plus a step raise.
I am sorry that Mr. Wyrosdick cannot be a superintendent that he thinks the public thinks he is because he it not. Sorry, if you don't like this in your newspaper. That's fine. I am sick and tired and everybody else in Santa Rosa County is sick and tired, too. I think he needs to put his money where his mouth is just like the governor did and fork out that $10 million for $1,800 for each person in our school system. That's the teachers and educational support too. Thank you very much. Good bye.
Saturday — 3:33 p.m.
This is Mary. I would like to say Amen, Amen, Amen to the editor that says "Too Late for This Tree." I think for the City it is shame, shame, shame on the City to cut that tree down that so many young people that could enjoy and could exercise climbing up in. And I just can't get over the City wanting to destroy something as beautiful as that tree and those kids jumping out of that tree into that water, splashing and having fun. Thank you.
