The annual KIA Drive for Life sponsored by Pensacola’s KIA Autosport is “an opportunity for blood donors to help provide needed blood for patients in area hospitals and to win a new KIA”, commented Jessica Lee, Vice President-General Manager of KIA.
Blood donors who donate twice between November 1 and March 31, 2014 will be entered into a drawing to win a 2014 KIA Soul. The drawing will also include first and second place winners who will receive a $250 and a $150 gas card respectively.
Eligibility rules can be found on the website at www.oneblood.org/kia or at any of the OneBlood donor centers located in Pensacola, Ft Walton, Crestview, Panama City or on the bloodmobiles.
With each donation blood donors will receive a wellness checkup of blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count, a cholesterol screening, and a thank-you gift. Generally, healthy people age 16 or older who weigh at least 110 pounds can donate blood.
Blood donations profoundly affect the lives of patients in our community and in many cases one donation can save up to three patients. Give someone a lifesaving opportunity by making a blood donation during this special event. Join us:
