Milton, FL – Santa Rosa Kids’ House (SRKH) will host its Fourth Annual Festival
of Trees on Saturday, November 23rd. This year the event will take place at the
beautifully restored Imogene Theater at 6866 Caroline Street in Downtown
Milton. The Imogene will be open for tours on Saturday from 10am to 3pm. On
Saturday evening at 6:30 PM the Festival of Trees will conclude with a Christmas
Celebration to include silent and live auctions of the decorated trees, wreaths,
door designs, and table centerpieces. Last year over $35,000 was raised. This
year SRKH hopes to raise at least $50,000.
Festival of Trees is Santa Rosa Kids’ House’s biggest fundraising event of the
season. The community is encouraged to join us to view dozens of decorated
trees and holiday decorations donated by local businesses, churches, civic
organizations and individuals. Everyone will have a chance to join the online
auction of several of the beautiful pieces on display. These can be viewed and
bid on online via the Santa Rosa Kids’ House website. Tickets to view trees and
wreaths inside the Imogene are $5 for adults and free for children 12 years of
age and under.
This is truly a celebration for the whole family. Santa will be available for pictures.
Children young and old can enjoy face painting, cookie decorating activities,
Christmas crafts, and hot chocolate. All these activities are free of charge. There
will also be a craft fair, “Festival Market Place,” Saturday, November 23rd from
8am to 3pm on the Imogene lawn with lots of great holiday shopping
opportunities. If you are interested in having a booth, please call Adair Cotton at
994-5703.
The festival will conclude at the Imogene with the Christmas Celebration and
Jingle Bell Jam Saturday evening at 6:30pm. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and
beverages will be served, followed by live and silent auctions of all the holiday
pieces. This year music will be added to the mix with the Jingle Bell Jam
following the close of the auction. Tickets for the evening’s celebration are $50
per person. Call the Kids’ House at (850)983-4441 to purchase tickets for this
event, as sales are limited and will sell out soon.
