The Second Annual Kids’ Casting Event part ofthe 8th Annual Fishin’ With a Mission Bass Tournament. It will be held Saturday, April 6 from noon – 3 p.m. atCarpenter’s Park in Milton.There will be free fishing rods for the first 100 registrants ages five through 12 who go through the training stations where kids will learn to identify fish, tie knots, learn conservation, boater safety & casting, and then try their luck at fishing with their very own new rod.The exciting weigh – in and release of live bass begins at 3 p.m.. The Lions Club; Fish Florida; and the United Way of Santa Rosa County is sponsoring the event.
