MILTON — On Saturday, Milton High School’s football field was home to the third annual Milton High School Band Crawfish Festival, a yearly tradition benefitting the Mighty Black and Gold Band.
Crawfish was the main focus of the festival, but the MHS Band Parent Association also sold its famous shish kabobs as well as hamburgers, hotdogs and Coca-Cola products. Other vendors offered a variety of options including lumpia, funnel cake, shaved ice and coffee.
Music from The Rowdies, Chasing Fridays and MHS Blackwater Beats Jazz Band filled the stadium while children jumped in bounce houses and made arts and crafts. Local businesses set up booths selling their goods an advertising their services.
