1. EXPERIENCE LOCAL MUSIC. Bands on the Blackwater returns 7-9 p.m. April 27 on South Willing Street. The outdoor concert series, held Friday nights in downtown Milton, is free to attend. 2. SHOP TO SUPPORT THE BAND. The Pace High School Band's annual yard sale takes place 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 28 on the southwest corner of Highway 90 and Floridatown Road, across from Walgreens. If you are interested in donating to help raise transportation funds for the school’s band, drop off your items after 3 p.m. April 27 at the site. Items that do not sell will be donated to Goodwill and Helping Hands. The band will also be collecting yard sale items in front of Pace High School at the bus ramp 5-7 p.m. April 19, 24 and 26. 3. RUN FOR A CAUSE. Leadership Santa Rosa will host the Blackwater Glow Run 8-11 p.m. April 28 at the Downtown Milton Riverwalk. The event is a family fun run and 5K benefiting Santa Rosa charities through the Leadership Santa Rosa RISE Grant. Early registration is available at www.active.com/milton-fl/running/distance-running/blackwater-glow-run-2018 for $25. Package pick up will be available the day of the event from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The fun run starts at 8 p.m. followed by an awards ceremony at 9 p.m. There will be an after-glow party for ages 21 and older.
