Sunday, 7:47 p.m. This is Gene in Pace. Everyone keeps blasting Bush. Lets go back in history to 2006 when the Democrats took over the house and the senate. The market crashed. Isn't that interersting; the economy tanked under the Democratic watch. Then Obama won the presidency and sat down with Bush and said he wanted the stimulus package. It is time we get off our butts and put the blame where it lies.

Saturday, 2:34 p.m. Food World went out of businesses because they were going up on their rent. And for the man on Avalon who said this is the worse bridge he has seen in 48 states. Is this true? Can anyone find out. Editor's note: The caller on the bridge stated his opinion that is the worse bridge in 48 states. It would take a survey to see where it stands, but not everyone knows or cares about a bridge on Avalon Boulevard. The only people who care are the ones who drive on it.

Saturday, 9:39 a.m. Yes, I don't know why people are saying what they are about the President. I saw President Obama and Mitt Romney during the debate. The President didn't raise his voice. Why do people say he was angry and upset? This is me. You know me. Thank you for letting me speak out.

Friday, 10:36 a.m. This is Mike. I wonder how much more they are going to come up with to clear Obama.

Friday, 9:56 a.m. This is Jerry. What happened to the mug shots. I cannot find them on the computer anymore. Editor's note: Jerry, when we did a redesign of our website, there were a few things we could not complete in time. The photo bucket that contained the mugshots was one of them. We are working as fast as we can to restore this and other elements following the redesign of our website.

Friday, 6:20 a.m. I would like to say hats off to Lifeguard Ambulance Service for taking that girl to the Miranda Lambert concert at Orange Beach. It was an awesome decision on their part and I would like to say thank you.

Thursday, 5:38 p.m. Hey on Wednesday, Oct. 3 did we run out of news? There was nothing but ads and your opinion page in the paper.

Thursday, 4:13 p.m. Jim here. I went into Tractor Supply and they have any and everything you would want except one thing – an employee. I was there for 10 minutes and did not see a single employee. Way to run a business. Bye.

Thursday, 8:35 a.m. I heard an ad on the radio concerning Medicare and it was the same lies, word for word, that Obama's ads say. It was by the SEIU (Service Employees International Union). Then I got a third paper from the AARP with the exact comments word for word. I guess they are a complete arm of the Democratic Party. Just like the unions, I guess their dues go to pay to re-elect the president. That is why I dropped out and I hope a lot of other people do too.

Thursday, 8:16 a.m. This is Bobby. You hear about how bad the roads are and how we are spending millions of dollars. I took a little road trip last week and took Highway 90 to DeFuniak Springs. They were working in different places on the road. I made a left and to Dothan and saw the same thing. I then took Highway 441 to Phoenix City and they were working on it. I cross over to Columbus, Ga., and then took Highway 27 to Tallahassee, the same thing. I went east to Apalachacola and then took Highway 98 to Panama City. There was construction off and on there too. I left Panama City and went to the Interstate and they were working on that road as well. There must be hundereds of thousands of people working on the roads out there.
