Friends and neighbors, I am Wendell Hall, Sheriff of Santa Rosa County. For almost 12 years I have had the honor and privilege of serving as your sheriff. I am seeking your consideration in allowing me to continue to serve you for my final four years as Sheriff of Santa Rosa County. My mission for the next four years is to continue proven, professional law enforcement service to all citizens of Santa Rosa County. With the help of the fine men and women of the SRSO and you the citizens, we have made Santa Rosa County one of the safest counties in the State of Florida to live, raise, and educate our children. This was accomplished through a get touch on crime approach. We have controlled drug dealers, burglars, thieves, and sexual predators by investigating, arresting, and aiding in the conviction of these criminals. As your sheriff this will continue. I have 31 years of proven law enforcement experience, with almost 12 years of that experience being Sheriff of Santa Rosa County. My administrative experience consists of managing over 350 employees and directing the spending of three budgets; law enforcement, jail and court security. Now is not he time to turn the safety and quality of life of our citizens over to someone with no proven leadership or experience. My administration and I have proven for almost 12 years that we can meet the challenge of controlling crime, budgetary constraints, and growth. We have overcome hard economic times without a budget increase while maintaining our high level of service. We have collected over $10-million in fee's from inmates and federal inmate programs. We will continue these programs and others as they allow us to return tax dollars to the citizens of Santa Rosa County. As your sheriff I will continue: Aggressive drug enforcement Protecting your children through our school resource officer program Protecting our senior citizens through our seniors versus crime program Aggressive traffic enforcement with the reinstatement of our traffic unit Investigating and arresting sexual offenders Innerfaith jail ministry For those who like to know a little more about me.
