Project Search of Lakeview is holding Information Night to introduce the workforce preparation program to high school students with disabilities. Serving ages 18 to 22, Project Search is a one-year employability training program that prepares students with disabilities through classroom instruction and experience working in healthcare or business settings. Continuous feedback and guidance help students learn their assigned tasks and master skills they need to succeed in the work world. Information Night will be held at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 13 at the Morris L. Eaddy Activity Center, which is located on the corner of Lakeview Avenue and North “G” Street. The free event is open to young adults with disabilities, their families and providers of services for people with disabilities. Applications for the 2013/2014 school year will be available.
