This is Linda from Pace. In response to the Speak Out on HR 347 bill signed by President Obama. It does not restrict the free press and it was an amendment to a 1971 law. Rep. Thomas Rooney, a Republican from Florida, sponsored the amendment itself. I believe the people should look it up and read it for themselves.

W.O. Jones, Jay area here. In regards to the Saturday Speak Out on Sept. 29 in the Press Gazette talking about the Avalon Beach situation. Luckily I don't have to travel that road, but there is another on. Suddenly seven miles south of Jay there is a road project on Highway 89. I ride that road all the time and there were no potholes or problems. Suddenly they have now decided to pave it. Now there are little ribs or bumps across the road. It is worse now that it ever was before. Is it possible that it was the end of the fiscal year and the state had extra money to spend so they wouldn't lose it in their budget next year. Take a ride on Highway 89 and see what I am talking about. It is stupid.

Hey Speak Out this is Billy from Milton. I am calling about the construction on Avalon and Highway 90. It has been going on for over a year now. It has been way too long. I feel that they put Food World out of business and they will not be happy until they do the same to K-Mart. This is a travesty. This should be investigated. The state highway department and the contractor are dragging their feet. We need to get this resolved quick.
