Hello this is Dennis. This speak out is for Billy Rogers and Jean. Hunting and fishing is an American Tradition. Thousands of years ago men had to hunt and fish to feed their families. Billy you are the type of person who needs to live in Navarre or Gulf Breeze. I guess you bought 10 to 15 acres north of Highway 4 near the Alabama line. I bet you feed deer and know them by name. Then here comes bad hunters who kill the deer. There is a day of reckoning in the bible called the Great Tribulation. There will be no grocery stores to by food. I wonder after you have not eaten for a week if you could pull the trigger on Bambi? Probably not, they will probably find you dead hugging a tree.

Hello my name is Dale. I am calling about the Santa Rosa County Bus Service. Just a couple of weeks ago the Press Gazette wrote an article about the bus service and that it was being well utilized and that ridership was up. Everything was fine. A couple of weeks later the county votes not to fund it. This service is subsidized by a grant, the state and the county even puts in a small portion of the total. I don't get it. They voted 3-2 against it. The County Commissioners should have to explain their vote against it. The rich have enough to take care of themselves. Ridership was up to 700 a month according to the article in the paper. What are they going to do, no bus, they don't own a car, they will lose their job. Do the county commissioners care? I don't think so. It takes a lot of money to live in this county.

This is Mary, a senior citizen who lives in Blackwater River State Forest. I doubt it is the hunters, but who ever is coming up here and dropping off animals, I would sure appreciate it if you would stop. Sell them, trade them to someone or better yet give them away. The cats that are dropped off here have kittens, the dogs starve half to death, and it is inhumane animal abuse. Also, to whoever threw out the black labs come and get it. It is about to starve to death.

Hi this is Dana. This is in response to Jane, who responded to Billy Rogers' speak out. My three girls and myself are hunters along with my husband. With what you said, I feel you were disrespectful to all of us. We have respect for everyone and nature as well. We are God-fearing people who happen to love to hunt. I also believe your thought process is insane. Raising the cost of hunting fees will not change what happens. We buy our hunting licenses and stamp to hunt deer. It is not right to punish everyone because some are irresponsible. We only shoot legal deer and when we have a clean shot. If the Division of Fish and Wildlife people would go out and catch the bad people or if they had enough to do so would solve the problem. Not raising the fees.

When you are driving please don't be so literally focused that you don't notice some people are having car problems and are trying to get off the road. Thank you.
