Pace High Quarterback Club to sell memorial bricks The Pace High Quarterback Club has started selling personalized brick pavers for $100 each as a program fundraiser. The new walkway will start at the Shack and led towards the home side stands. The existing sidewalk will be taken up as soon as enough orders are in to begin the process. 2nd Annual Monster Dash 5K The Andy Mac Foundation will host its second annual Monster Dash 5K Fun Run through Milton at 5 p.m. on Oct. 27. Proceeds from the Monster Dash will benefit the Andy Mac Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization that serves local Ducheene Muscular Dystrophy affected families to help create times of happiness through integration, activities, opportunities, and support. It also supports those who reach out to touch the lives of those with disabilities by sponsoring scholarships at Milton High School. Pre-registration is $20 and participants can register at the Open Rose Florist or online at active.com. Registration on the day of the event is $25. The Kids Mini-Monster Dash is $10. Packet pickup and day of registration will begin at 4 p.m. In addition to first, second and third place prizes there will awards for last place, best costume, best group costume, and most creative costume. Benny Russell Hall of Fame Nominations Nominations are now being accepted for Pace High School's Bennett C. Russell Athletic Hall of Fame. The induction will be pre-game of the Nov. 2 Homecoming football game. The Russell Hall of Fame was established in 2003 to honor former Pace High School athletes who distinguished themselves on and off the playing field. Nominees must be a former Patriot Athlete who has been out of school at least 10 years, an honorable individual who reflects the strong character of Benny Russell, and have proven themselves as a positive role model in the community. Nominations will be accepted through Sept. 28 and may be picked up at any Pace High School Office or on the Pace High School website- pacehighschool.net.
