WHAT: 2015 Elected Officials Meet and Greet
WHEN: Doors open at 5:30 p.m. event is from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11
WHERE: Santa Rosa County Auditorium at 4530 Spikes Way in Milton
Santa Rosa County residents will have the opportunity to meet with county elected officials face to face during the 2015 Elected Officials Meet and Greet on Tuesday, August 11.
The event, which is sponsored by the Santa Rosa Young Professionals and the Santa Rosa County Chamber of Commerce, will allow local elected officials to introduce themselves to the attending crowd and mingle with attendees throughout the event.
So far, Santa Rosa County Commissioners Don Salter, Bob Cole and Rob Williamson have committed to attending the event as well as State Representative Mike Hill, SRC Property Appraiser Greg Brown, SRC Supervisor of Elections Tappie Villane and Gulf Breeze Councilman David Landfair.
Donna Tucker, an event organizer with the SRC Chamber of Commerce said responses from the county elected officials are still coming in for this event. Tucker said a couple hundred residents attended these events in the past.
The event will also have refreshments available for purchase with proceeds benefiting the Bay Area Food Bank.
