The Florida-Alabama Transportation Planning Organization (FL-AL TPO) is entering the Cost Feasible phase its 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) and seeking public input to help the TPO determine future transportation priorities. Three public meetings have been scheduled to offer citizens the opportunity to share their ideas for transportation needs in the next 25 years.

The LRTP identifies projects that support roadway capacity, freight, public transit, and bicycle-pedestrian infrastructure needed in the urbanized areas of Escambia and Santa Rosa counties in Florida and parts of Baldwin Cty., Ala. The public is encouraged to attend and give feedback on the 20-25 year transportation plan.
The FL-AL TPO is staffed by the West Florida Regional Planning Council (WFRPC), a not-for-profit agency providing professional planning, coordinating and advisory services to local governments, state and federal agencies and the public to preserve and enhance quality of life in northwest Florida.
