MILTON — Here is a list of scheduled faith-based services and events.

UPCOMING 

FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF PACE: 

  • Saturday: 11 a.m. Megan’s Love (Picnic with the Homeless). Prepare a brown bag lunch to deliver to the homeless in Pensacola. Meet in the church kitchen.
  • Sunday: 9 a.m. Sunday school; 9:45 a.m., coffee and doughnut fellowship, CCC; 10:10 a.m., worship service, sanctuary.
  • Monday: 6:30 p.m. Sub-district United Methodist Men Meeting and dinner with speaker Larry Seale in the CCC.
  • Wednesday: 5 p.m. fellowship dinner, CCC; 6 p.m. adult Bible studies; 6 p.m. kids’ activities children’s sanctuary; 6 p.m. youth Bible study youth room; 7:15 p.m., Chancel Choir practice Sanctuary.
  • Thursday: 8 a.m. breakfast at Chick-Fil-A for high school and college students at Highway 90; 10 a.m. women's Bible study; 5:45 p.m. leave the church for the UMM Barn meeting
  • Friday: 7 a.m. yard sale (Christian Faith and Hope), children’s sanctuary.
  • Saturday: 8 a.m. United Methodist Men's breakfast; 11 a.m. Megan’s Love (Picnic with the Homeless). Prepare a brown bag lunch to deliver to the homeless in Pensacola. Meet in the church kitchen.
  • Pace UMC is a congregate meal site for COA – Seniors, Monday through Friday in our gym CCC classroom

EAST SIDE BAPTIST CHURCH:

Sara Peacock will be sharing the story of the Florida Baptist Children's Homes at East Side Baptist Church 10 a.m. Sunday. East Side is located at 4884 Ward Basin Road. The Children's Homes made a difference in the lives of 200,524 children and individuals in 2017. Sara will give an overview of the local and international ministry to children and families in need. Her role in the work of the Children's Homes is as a licensing specialist in the area of foster care. During the month of May, East Side takes up a special offering for the Florida Baptist Children's Homes.

East Side Baptist Church 10 a.m. May 20 is also holding "Belts for Charity." Attendees can show off their favorite belt or favorite belt buckle and bring a new or barely used belt for charity. Time will available to briefly tell the story about a favorite or most unique belt. God's Word tells us to put on the belt of truth. Come, have some fun, and take part in a good cause.

RECURRING 

FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF MILTON: Worship services are 9 a.m. Sundays, followed by a coffee social at 10 a.m. and Sunday school at 10:30 a.m. at 5203 Elmira St., Milton. FPC Milton's Open Hearts Ministry, a Bible study group for adults with special needs, meets 6 p.m. Wednesdays.

FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF MILTON: 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. regular Sunday worship services

DESTINY BIBLE CHURCH: Worship service is 10 a.m. Sundays. Wednesday’s Reflect, Share, Study is 7 p.m. at 4867 W. Spencer Field Road, Pace.

PLEASANT GROVE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH: Events include 10 a.m. Sunday school, 11 a.m. worship service, 6 p.m. men’s and women’s studies and 7 p.m. worship service. Wednesday night Building Tomorrow’s Church meetings are at 7 p.m. The church is located at 11130 Highway 87 N., Milton.

MILTON FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD: Worship 10:30 a.m. Sundays and 7 p.m. Wednesdays at 6163 Dogwood Drive, Milton. Details: 623-2854.

BAGDAD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH: 8:30 a.m. contemporary worship service, 10 a.m. traditional worship service at 4540 Forsyth St., Bagdad.

SHEPHERD'S HOUSE MINISTRIES INC. OUTREACH DELIVERANCE MINISTRY CHURCH: Sunday school, 9:30 a.m.; Morning Worship 11 a.m.; and Wednesday night Bible study, 7 p.m. at 5739 Stewart St., Milton. Bishop Cecil Downing is the founder and senior pastor. Details: 530-4011.
