Pensacola Christian Academy Warriors visited the West Florida Baptist Academy Lady Conquerors in Thursday night volleyball action.
The JV squads split sets. The Warriors won the first set 25-19, then the Conquerors rallied to 25-16 & 15-9 victories. Grace Rolfe led the Conquerors in kills (3), Madison Whiting in aces (5) and digs (7) and Abrianna Gonzalez in service receptions (10).
Varsity was decided in straight sets 25-11, 25-16 and 25-17, in favor of the Conquerors. 27 kills were spread between 7 players, led by Brittany Lyons (6 kills) and Ashtyn Kaunitz's 12 assists. MaKenna Hartman recorded 7 aces in 23 attempts with only 1 service error. Shelby Brawley and Ashtyn led the defensive effort with 3 blocks and 13 digs, respectively.
