Bobby Green of the Sound & Spirit music group is inviting the community to attend a gospel music concert this Friday night at Avalon Baptist Church, in which admission is free.
Green said this will be the second year the group has hosted a southern-themed gospel concert at the church.
“We had an excellent crowd last year, we had about 250 people,” Green said. “We are expecting a bigger crowd this year.”
In addition to Sound & Spirit, the concert will also feature local southern gospel groups Watch and Pray and The Lunsfords.
The church will have refreshments on hand for purchase and door prizes provided by local vendors will also be given away at the event. Green said the event is being sponsored by Ears 2 Hear, Advanced Tires and Advisers USA.
