Frank Harwood had a 21 year career in the Navy's Under-Sea Surveillance System. He completed a 20 year second career as an education specialist for the Navy's Training and Education program. He has a BS in Education and an MA in Curriculum Development. Frank began taking photographs at an early age but didn't get serious with camera work until the last few years when he had more time. Harwood said, “My passion is nature and wildlife photography. I recently joined the Florida Wildlife & Nature Photography Forum. I also love to take panoramic photos of broad expanses.” Harwood said he also likes to develop and maintain websites (including the Dragonfly Gallery's site) and teaches classes in panoramic photography.
