Bagdad United Methodist Church
This Sunday we complete our sermon series, Joseph – A Faithful Life with our 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Holy Communion services exploring the theme, ‘Faith-Based Reconciliation.’ If you wish to complete this weeks study of our scripture, please read Genesis chapters 42-50. Our church, and the Lord’s Table, are always open to everyone who loves and serves the Lord, so please invite family, friends and neighbors to another lively service full of humor, fellowship, prayer, praise and God’s Word for us for today. Next Sunday, September 13, we will have a guest preacher from England followed by a parish luncheon.
Our 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. services will feature a sermon by Pastor David Banister, a retired Methodist Minister from Frinton-on-Sea, Essex.
First Presbyterian Church
Church services are held at 10:30 each Sunday morning. First Presbyterian Church is located at 5203 Elmira Street in historic downtown Milton. This Sunday, the sermon titled "Disobedience and Deliverance" will be delivered by Pastor Jo Kublik as we continue our church wide study of "The Book" Two adult study classes and Sunday school for pre-K and K are held in the Fellowship Hall Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. There is a nursery during the church service for infants and toddlers. We welcome all visitors and encourage you to attend if you are new in the area or looking for a church family. This Sunday, being the first Sunday of the month, we will hold our fellowship potluck dinner in Fellowship Hall immediately following the service. As our church is an historic building and the oldest church in Santa Rosa county we are in need of refurbishing. To raise the needed funds we are collecting cans and metal. If you wish to donate please contact Betsy Dodson at 983-7803. An indoor yard sale will be held September 11 and 12 in our Fellowship Hall. Donated items are welcome anytime after August 13. First United Methodist Church
FirstUnitedMethodistChurch of Milton, located at 6830 Berryhill Street, Milton holds worship services every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., along with Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. This Sunday, September 6, Rev.
