On the road in Theodore, AL, Tuesday night, the Lady Conquerors of West Florida Baptist Academy posted JV and Varsity wins over the Lighthouse Baptist Academy Ambassadors.
Junior Varsity (4-0 overall and 1-0 conference) split sets 25-19, 22-25 and 15-12 and recorded a 94 percent team serve percentage (68 attempts, 4 errors) with 10 aces. Grace Rolfe was the leading attacker with 9 kills in 18 attempts followed by Maddie Whiting's 3 kills and 3 aces. Abrianna Gonzalez led the defense with 15 receptions/digs and only 1 error.
Varsity's (8-0, 1-0) successful attacks were spread between 6 players and totaled 26 kills, led by Ashtyn Kaunitz (6). Taylor Lunsford, Havii Berry and Brittany Lyons each had 5. Lyons also recorded her personal best 5 blocks with 15 digs. Final scores were 25-15, 25-16 and 25-20.
