On Sunday, September 13 BagdadUnitedMethodistChurch will welcome a guest preacher from England followed by a parish luncheon. Pastor David Bavister, a retired Methodist minister from Frinton-on-Sea, Essex will be speaking on the theme “Mission Impossible.’

First United Methodist of Milton

FirstUnitedMethodistChurch of Milton, located at 6830 Berryhill Street, Milton holds worship services every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., along with Sunday School at 9:45 a.m.  Everyone is welcome.  This Sunday, September 13, Rev. New Life Baptist Church

New LifeBaptistChurch is celebrating their 35th anniversary with a homecoming weekend on September 19-20. A singing and ice cream fellowship will take place September 19 at 5:30 p.m. and worship service at 10:30 a.m. on September 20 with a covered dish lunch following. Former Pastor Doug Bedgood will be officiating and former Music Minister Charles Little and family will lead music. All former members and friends are welcome and invited to attend. The church is located at the corner of Highway 87 North and Bayberry Street.

First Presbyterian Church

Church services are held at 10:30 each Sunday morning. First Presbyterian Church is located at 5203 Elmira Street in historic downtown Milton. This Sunday, the sermon titled "The Command To Obey" will be delivered by Pastor Jo Kublik as we continue our church wide study of "The Book" with two adult study classes and Sunday school for pre-K and K held in the Fellowship Hall Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. There is a nursery during the church service for infants and toddlers. All are welcome. We will celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion during the service this Sunday. We welcome all visitors and encourage you to attend if you are new in the area or looking for a church family. As our church is an historic building and the oldest church in Santa Rosa county we are in need of refurbishing. To raise the needed funds we are collecting cans and metal. If you wish to donate please contact Betsy Dodson at 983-7803. An indoor yard sale will be held September 11 and 12 in our Fellowship Hall. Donated items are welcome anytime after August 13.
