Becky Gibbs is from Memphis and came to Pace via the Navy, through her husband who is retired. She said she's always shown interest in the arts and dabbled in many forms. Pottery was the winner among all she tried. Gibbs said she she creates her artwork at home and fires many ways: cone six electric, raku, barrel, and pit firing.Painting on silk is now a new form of art with the scarves being the canvas. She loves the colors and the feel of the silk. "One never knows how the silk will let the color flow but the end result is always beautiful," said Gibbs.
