This is Kent Williams, a resident of the fine City of Milton, concerning the yard debris collections services. You know, it’s a travesty that man was killed but to shut down a complete service because of this, you just don’t have pickup of yard debris on main thoroughfares or main cut-throughs. It’s not that I don’t have compassion for the man’s death, but things have to keep moving on. Also, I haven’t seen any credits on the bills either. But anyway, that’s the solution to the problem. Again, it is a tragedy what happened but we have to keep moving on.

Yeah this is Bobby. In Wednesday’s paper it’s got in there that downtown businesses, some of them get 30 percent of their income from people that go back and forth to the courthouse and they’re going to croak if they don’t have it. To start with, it’s not the government’s responsibility to succeed in your business that you chose, but they’re not thinking that if they move the courthouse, you could tear that courthouse down and build a big parking lot or something. Then people would come downtown and park and visit your business. You’d probably have more business than you do now by just catching people going to court. Thank you.
