Next Saturday, Oops Alley will host the American Poolplayers Association second annual Angel Tree Tournament. Proceeds will benefit the Santa Rosa Kids’ House.

League Owner Matt Miley said the tournament will provide gifts to 47 children through the SRKH. He said, “Purchase a gift. They give you what they call a tag. It's a card with the name and age of a child along with a corresponding number. It has 2-4 things that certain child would like to receive. So you fill the tag or card to enter the tournament.”

The tournament will run with APA rules, he said, with up to 32 players participating, in an event he described as more about fun and helping the community. “Players fill one of the tags to enter the tournament. We use APA rules. Players don't have to play in the tournament to participate. Some fill the tags and don't play. I'm going to try and get prizes donated or purchase them for the top 3 finishers.”
