Panhandle Community Theatre

Bagdad Village Preservation Association

 The 4th Annual Christmas Music Gala will be held on December 12 at the Bagdad Museum, 4512 Church Street, and will feature the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra Woodwind Trio of Matt Fossa, Newell Hutchison, and Abigail Walker. The black tie optional reception will begin at 6 p. m. with the performance at 7 p.m. Tickets are $45 and seating is limited. Please call 623-3288 for details.

Dragonfly Art Gallery

The Dragonfly Gallery is highlighting their Christmas feature room with lots of original handmade items for sale for the holidays. The gallery is located in Milton at 6815 Caroline Street. Open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Register for lacrosse

Those interested in building a lacrosse team in Santa Rosa County need to register for PLAY (Pensacola Lacrosse Association for Youth). Even though this organization is stationed in Ensley on East Nine Mile Road it is worth the drive. Register online at Pensacolalacrosse.com, and if doing so, also register on USLacrosse.org. HelpMiltonHigh School get their lacrosse team and register for PLAY.

PSC Barbershop

The Pensacola State College’s Barbering program is offering $4 haircuts from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. each Monday through Thursday at the Salon and Barbershop in Building 12 on the Pensacola Campus. No appointment is necessary. For more information call 484-2567.

 UF/IFAS Extension Santa Rosa County

A one hour program on Citrus Canker will be presented on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Gulf Breeze Public Library located at 1060 Shoreline Drive in Gulf Breeze. Mary Derrick, Residential Horticulture Agent with UF/IFAS Extension Santa Rosa County will present the program. The program is free and no registration is required. This informational session will discuss the symptoms of the disease, how to distinguish it from other citrus diseases, and recommendations for the homeowner.
