A fatal traffic accident happened Christmas Day at 7:30 a.m. on County Road 197 causing the death of Jennifer Michelle Neal, 43, of Pace. Florida Highway Patrol reports Neal’s car was traveling south on County Road 197 and drove onto the west shoulder and into a concrete ditch, colliding with a concrete culvert/driveway. Neal was transported to SacredHeartHospital and pronounced dead. Investigation is pending on whether or not alcohol was involved in the accident.
