Santa Rosa Medical Center welcomed the first baby for 2016 on Sunday with the delivery of Kylie Alyssa Mahayag. The baby girl of Crestview residents Rodney and Julia arrived weighing 6 pounds and 9 ounces. Rodney, a Milton native, said the couple’s second child arrived five days ahead of schedule. Rodney and his wife said the couple oldest child Emily, 4, is excited to have a little sister. Dr. Sue George with the Santa Rosa Medical Group delivered baby Kylie.
