Based on the results of a recent speed study, the Florida Department of Transportation will decrease the speed limit on State Road 87 beginning at U.S. 98 to just north of Montalban Street in Navarre from 45 MPH to 40 MPH beginning Thursday, Jan. 7.
Maintenance activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to pay attention to the speed limit when traveling.
