The Milton Rotary Club kicked off the new year with a presentation on Lionfish by Rick O'Connor of the UF/IFAS Escambia County Extension Service.
The group learned how Lionfish arrived in our area and benefits and dangers of the species. He announced a "Lionfish Removal and Awareness Day" coming to Santa RosaCounty in May.
