I was just listening to Cross Talk on the radio. I never heard such gloom and doom and how bad this country is and we’re split and divided. We’re divided because the people choose to be. If this place is so bad, why are millions of people dying trying to get to the United States to live? I wish somebody could answer that question. I haven’t lived anywhere else but I think this is the greatest place in the world to be today and that’s why millions of people die trying to get here. Thank you.

Yeah hi this is Carol and I’m calling about all the trash that’s thrown out on Rosaco, the road between Dogwood and Stewart Street. People throw out everything: bottles cans, fast food, tissues, cups and everything and I’ve even been up there picking up the trash in bags myself because I never see any city people do it. I’m trying to sell a house on Savannah Drive with a pool that’s very nice and anybody sees all that trash they wouldn’t even want to live down here. Cigarette butts I pick up around the house if anybody throws it down. These people must have been raised by wolves. I know city councilmen. If you could please help me, It just gets worse. So I hope there’s a city councilman or somebody reading this that cares about the city of Milton and does something about it. Thank you.

This is Tony the Critic calling in reference to the concerned senior citizen’s last set of questions. As I’ve stated before, Christianity is on the decline and this has been proven through research: the number of new converts nil to none, new membership nil to none. The current role models are poor religious examples and I doubt calls from senior citizens for revolution will attract a following. People are turned off by such complaining examples of Christianity. Thanks.

This is George. I listen to the President’s address last night and the follow-up by the Republican governor who made her remarks. And then they brought in this Peggy Wasserman Schultz. She’s a democrat local Florida representative or some thing and she said that most of the people do not like her. They hate her, or words to that effect and so when the address was done the lady that was at Fox News said no, she is liked, well liked. So the democrat said no, she’s hated. So at the end of the program, the commentator for Fox News said the latest polls show that 81 percent of her constituents love her and I thought here it is trying to be honest and the first one out of the box starts lying right away. You just cannot trust a politician. No wonder their rating is so low. Have a great day. Bye.

Hello, this is Patsy and the senior citizen that wrote in Wednesday’s paper about the Islam religion being taught in the schools and the prayer. I imagine the religion, too, is being taught because my husband asked a member of the superintendant’s office, a lady that works there and she said that yes it was being shown and they were seeing films about the Muslims. She said she felt that that was the right thing to do because the children need to be exposed to everything. Well, my husband told her no, the children need to be exposed to God, and let it end right there, but you’d be surprised at what your children are being taught. You just go down there and put in a little effort and not do like most of the people in this county do and just vote, vote, vote and not know a thing about what’s going on in the world. Thank you.

It is sad and despicable watching our city council operate as they are. Never in 100 years under Guy Thompson would they have called for this Committee as a Whole. But now they have sour grapes and a vendetta against the current mayor and are doing everything they can to silence his voice. It’s disgusting and people like Jimmy Messick have got to go.
