Support local artists at 'Garden to Gallery' Jan 30

Elaine Woodward is one of the artists who will be featured at the Coldwater Gardens event, the Garden to Gallery Fundraiser Dinner in support of the Santa Rosa Arts and Culture Foundation.

Masters in the arts will be on display at the first Garden to Gallery Fundraiser Dinner to be held January 30 at ColdwaterGardens. The purpose of the $50 per person dinner is to support the local arts community with the funds going to the Santa Rosa Arts and Culture Foundation.

Artwork by six different artists in various mediums will be on display from Elaine Woodward who primarily works in pastels, Sally Miller who works in watercolors, Janie Seal who works in oils, Mitzi Dubois a jewelry artist, and Darlene Stanhope the photographer.

Nick Phoenix, ColdwaterGardens operations manager and new SRACF board member, said it will be a simple and quiet evening, not a black tie event, “just low key and fun…kind of like a gallery night just a more intimate style.”

Menu items come from ColdwaterGardens itself, an innovative farm incorporating diverse gardening techniques such as hydroponics and aquaponics. The menu includes chicken or salmon braised with pesto, arugula and berry salad with Satsuma vinaigrette, roasted roots and herbs, shiitake polenta with asiago, and blueberry crisp topped with maple pecan ice cream.
