Santa Rosa Arts and Culture Foundation

Artists are needed to participate in the Riverwalk Arts Festival in downtown Milton on March 5 and 6 beginning at 10 a.m. Application deadline is February 15. For more information call 626-4499.

Santa Rosa Art Association

The Santa Rosa Art Association will meet January 23 at the PSC Milton Campus, Building 4900 at 9 a.m. This month Laura Keith King will teach techniques of the classical style of grisaille under painting. For more information and for a list of supplies, call Jean at 313-3568.

West Florida Community Care Center

This is notice of the West Florida Community Care Center Board meeting on Thursday, January 28 located at 5500 Stewart Street, Milton.  The full board will convene at 9:30 a.m. in the Treatment Team Room of the facility.  Accommodations can be made upon request for those who are deaf, hard of hearing or living with disabilities.  Please call 983-5500 for more information.

Pensacola Numismatic Society (Coin Club)

Color Vibe 5K Run

The Color Vibe 5K Run will be held at the Vince J. Whibbs Maritime Park Amphitheatre located at 301 W. Main Street, Pensacola beginning at 9 a.m. Registration can be completed online at www.thecolorvibe.com. This year Color Vibe will donate to the American Diabetes Association.

Pensacola State College

PSC will hold auditions for “Six Degrees of Separation” January 25 and 26 at the Ashmore Fine Arts Auditorium, Building 8 on the Pensacola Campus at 7 p.m. Inspired by the true story of a con man who claimed to be the son of actor Sidney Poitier, “Six Degrees of Separation” explores the premise that everyone is connected to everyone else by a chain of no more than six acquaintances. Auditions consist of readings from the script to fill 17 roles for men and women. The production runs March 3-6. Embroiderers Guild

The Sand Dunes Chapter of Embroiderers' Guild of America celebrates various forms of hand embroidery.  The January program meeting will be Sunday, January 24, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Religious Education building, Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 1200 Valparaiso Blvd, Niceville.  Visitors are welcome.  Call 496-3466 with any questions.

Gulf Coast Kiln Walk Society

The Gulf Coast Kiln Walk Society, Inc. will be hosting the 10th Annual Woodstoke Pottery and Kiln Festival on Saturday, Feb. 6.  The event will be held at the Anagama kiln site on the corner of Highway 87 and Buckeye Drive in Holley, (7 miles north of Navarre).  The event starts at 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Two historical wood-fueled kilns will be unloaded during the festival unveiling creations for many different potters.  A Seafood Gumbo and casserole cook-off will be a part of this year's festivities.  Prizes will be awarded for the best gumbos, seafood casseroles and cornbread.  Sample the seafood and receive a bowl for only $10.  Chili will also be served by the Santa Rosa Arts and Culture Foundation for a donation.
