Bagdad United Methodist Church
This Sunday, the third in Epiphany, we will explore the theme, “Do You Feel Free?”
Come and share some reflections upon how we choose to live, and the consequences. Maybe the Lord can help us to feel liberated rather than stressed, free instead of manipulated, peaceful in the midst of life’s upsets?
So come, bring family and friends and enjoy great fellowship, lovely singing, fervent prayers and a message to bless you, on your way at our 8 a.m. breakfast service and 10 a.m. family worship service.
Next Sunday we will have a special treat when a gospel quartet, 'The Keffers' from Georgia will be performing for us in both services. Please join us for a special time of worship in music.
First Presbyterian Church
Church services are held at 10:30 each Sunday morning. First Presbyterian Church is located at 5203 Elmira Street in historic downtown Milton. This Sunday the sermon, “We Are The Body of Christ” will be delivered by Lori Prettyman. We continue our church wide study of “The Book,” with two adult study classes and Sunday school for pre-K and K held in the Fellowship Hall Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. There is a nursery during the church service for infants and toddlers. We welcome all visitors and encourage you to attend if you are new in the area or looking for a church family. Our ministry for adults with disabilities, “Open Hearts” meets every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. As our church is an historic building and the oldest church in Santa Rosa county we are in need of refurbishing. To raise the needed funds we are collecting cans and metal. If you wish to donate please contact Betsy Dodson at 983-7803.
