God wants all to confirm His word when considering the rapture

Dear Editor,

Considering the Christian rapture concept, Christ privately snatches all existing ‘saved’ Christians off the planet at some moment, either before, during or at the end of an expected 7 year tribulation period. This rapture is to include the ‘dead saved’ and also the ‘alive saved’ meeting in the sky at the ‘thief in the night’ time.

Everyone remaining on the earth will be both flabbergasted and stunned by this apparent silent disappearance of multiple people. Incidentally, in the movie, “Left Behind” all societies will be affected by resultant accidents and catastrophes that will occur simultaneously, as people are snatched away during their employment hours.

Rather than me agreeing or disagreeing with this definition, I’d like to state God wants you in the Bible confirming His word for yourself. I’ll just challenge you to search for the verses supporting these rapture basics as I had to do.

  1. There is a 7 year period defined as the tribulation.
  2. Christ will be coming twice to get His Church. First as the rapture, second as resurrection.
  3. One coming will be heard by the Church only as they secretly fly into the sky, but not by the unsaved. The other coming will be with the sound of a trumpet and all humans will hear and see. All remaining can watch the saved Christians fly up into the sky.

But, what if no rapture?

There will still be an end times, but everyone would still be here. My guess wiould be that the Lord would protect His believers during this horrible time. Remember these incidents? Moses and the Israelites were in Egypt during the 10 plagues but were unaffected after the first two and when Daniel was in the lion’s den during the time when the lion was in there but he survived and also when the 3 believers wouldn’t bow down to the king’s idol were thrown into the firey furnace and they were not burned.
