Milton Police Chief Greg Brand is shown receiving the Milton Pride tag holder from Santa Rosa Sunrise Kiwanis President Penny Wilson. Chief Brand spoke to the membership about his arrival in Milton, when hired, and his handling of community relations. When Chief Brand first came to Milton, he said word came across his desk, there was a conflict in a certain neighborhood. Brand said he went door to door, block after block, talking to each resident. The message was the same, "If you have any problem, call me and I'll come to you to listen to your complaint." Chief Brand is proud of his entire department and the way they carry out day-to-day issues. Chief Brand will be sorely missed when he retires in February. Santa Rosa Sunrise Kiwanis welcomes all to join them for breakfast at Tanglewood Golf Course any Wednesday at 7 a.m.
