Bagdad United Methodist Church

The scene changes to white vestments as we now encounter Transfiguration Sunday.

Our Holy Communion 8 a.m. breakfast and 10 a.m. family services will explore the theme of “Mountain Faith.” Let us climb up the mountain together and see what wonders the Lord has waiting for us as we ascend together as the family of God. Ash Wednesday service is February 10 at 6 p.m. with the theme of "If you want to walk on the water, you first have to get out of the boat!" Lent sermon series  “The James Makeover” starts Sunday February 14.

First United Methodist Church of Pace

The First United Methodist Church of Pace is holding a women’s event “A Woman’s Journey with God” February 20 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Lunch is provided. For more information call 206-1863.

Immanuel Baptist Church

Immanuel Baptist Church on Highway 90 in Pace will sponsor an Upward Flag Football program this fall. This program is part of an effort to reach out to the local community, particularly young families. The Upward program will also feature cheerleading for girls. Olivet Baptist Church Dental Bus

Olivet Baptist Church on Dogwood Drive in Milton will arrive the week of March 7-11. Appointments are assigned on a first come first serve basis as appointment times are limited.

The Dental Bus provides services for fillings and extractions to those in the community needing dental assistance. In order to take advantage of the services, registrations must be made Monday, Feb. 22 beginning at 9 a.m. in Olivet Baptist’s Fellowship Hall, located on the north end of the campus. To register please bring an ID and a piece of mail for proof of residency. For more information, please call Olivet Baptist at 623-2780.

First Presbyterian Church

Church services are held at 10:30 each Sunday morning. First Presbyterian Church is located at 5203 Elmira Street in historic downtown Milton. This Sunday the sermonwill be delivered by Tammy Mendiola. We continue our church wide study of “The Book” with two adult study classes and Sunday school for pre-K and K held in the Fellowship Hall Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. We will begin our Lenten dinners Wed. Feb 10 at 6 p.m. with volunteers providing soup for all. As our church is an historic building and the oldest church in Santa Rosa county we are in need of refurbishing. To raise the needed funds we are collecting cans and metal. If you wish to donate please contact Betsy Dodson at 850-983-7803.
